The Imelda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (ICCII) officially donated a service vehicle to the Imelda Municipal Police Station (MPS) through the Municipal Government of Imelda during a turnover ceremony held on July 6, 2026.
The donation reflects ICCII's commitment to supporting peace and order while strengthening the partnership between the business sector and the local government. The vehicle will enhance the mobility of the Imelda MPS, enabling officers to respond more quickly to emergencies, conduct regular patrols, and carry out other official law enforcement functions throughout the municipality.
One of the key benefits of the donation is the increased police presence in business districts. With an additional service vehicle, the Imelda MPS will be better equipped to conduct routine surveillance and monitoring of commercial establishments, helping deter criminal activities, improve response times, and provide business owners with greater confidence that their establishments are being regularly monitored. During his message, Municipal Mayor Hon. Arnoldo Famor expressed his sincere appreciation to ICCII and the local business community for their generous contribution.
